St. Nicholas Day

Today we celebrate St. Nicholas day.  Moonpie and Buddy will wake up to find chocolate coins in their shoes and tiny notebooks.  They just love tiny notebooks!  And these are super fancy, tiny notebooks.  I think they will be a hit.  Baby Birdy will find a lone banana in her tiny moccasins.  Bananas are her favorite these days.  Even if they aren't super fancy.

Moonpie left a carrot for St. Nick's horse.  Because she is thoughtful like that.  Can you believe that he only ate half of it?

Hahaha! I love it! The banana! I have a couple who would be ecstatic over bananas in their shoes, too.

Now I really wish I had thought of this before. I was trying to think of what to do to celebrate St. Nicholas' day... It's not too late, though, right? They can put their shoes out tonight...

Yes- of course! Do it!!! In my book it's never too late to do anything! {speaking like a true procrastinator!}

Hey, I just thought of something you might be interested in. This was written by someone we know who has a big interest in Santa, but keeps him quite separate from Jesus Christ.
