Ok, I know. Back in August I promised a multi-part series on chicken care. And then I got bored...or something. I'm not quite sure. But lookee here! I have a beautiful new blog design to show off! So in honor of that and in the spirit of new beginnings, I am offering a giveaway for a great new cookbook that features eggs!

My absolute favorite egg dish is a simple one; a toasted slize of homemade bread, a generous layer of organic butter and a poched egg on top. a drizzle of pink himalayan salt and some herbs and I am in heaven;.)
Toad in a hole! It is so easy to make, which is perfect after coming home from a long shift. I am always crazy hungry for breakfast at that point!

My favorite egg is simply sunny side up! I do like it in egg in a nest or on a tasty BLT!

Loving the new blog design. Very fresh and simple looking...reminds me of you! :) Eggs have been on the meal plan nearly everyday! My new fav is an egg frittata! I love mixing leftover meats and veggies in with the eggs! So yummy!
We eat a ton of eggs at our house. Fried egg topped with avocado is my current favorite but Jason is getting back into poached eggs, which are delightful but more work. And we are totally getting backyard chickens this year. Woo!
Favorite egg dish? I don't understand... :-D How can there be a favorite? I love eggs so many ways and we eat tons of them!
Um, so how about creme brulee? Eggs from the chickens and cream from the goats and maple syrup from the trees... it doesn't get much better.
